Alright Australia, brace yourselves – Oliver Tree is bringing his beautifully unhinged live show back to Australia this October, locking in a run of headline dates as part of his massive global tour behind new album Love You Madly, Hate You Badly.

Fresh off the release of his fourth studio record – a 17-track, genre-pinballing fever dream entirely written and produced by Tree himself- the internet’s favourite chaos merchant is gearing up for his most ambitious tour yet, spanning literally every continent. But for our purposes? He’s heading straight for Aussie stages with a handful of shows that are guaranteed to be equal parts gig, performance art and full-blown fever dream.

Oliver Tree – Love You Madly, Hate You Badly.

If you’ve seen Oliver Tree live before, you already know this isn’t your standard night out. His shows are loud, theatrical, unpredictable and just a little bit cooked… blending alt-pop, electronic, hip-hop and straight-up absurdity into something that somehow works way too well. Expect big visuals, chaotic energy, and at least a few moments where you question what timeline you’re currently living in.

The tour lands off the back of Love You Madly, Hate You Badly, a globe-trotting project recorded across 82 countries (casual), pulling in sounds and influences from pretty much everywhere on earth. Singles like “Joyride,” “Flowers,” and the aggressively titled “Fuck The Whole World” have already been making noise – the latter getting a viral boost after Tree popped up during Subtronics’ Coachella set.

Now he’s bringing that whole unfiltered world to Australia for a tight run of shows this October, hitting Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.

Presales kick off from Wednesday May 6, with general tickets on sale Friday May 8, and you can peep all the details down below.

OLIVER TREE – AUSTRALIA 2026 TOUR DATES

  • Thursday October 2 – Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane, QLD
  • Friday October 3 – Forum Melbourne, Melbourne, VIC
  • Tuesday October 7 – Enmore Theatre, Sydney, NSW
  • Wednesday October 8 – Hindley Street Music Hall, Adelaide, SA
  • Friday October 10 – Metro City, Perth, WA

The artist presale (register now via Cobrand) and Spotify pre sales will begin Wednesday, May 6th at 10AM local time. Untitled Group presale will run from Thursday, May 7th 10AM local time – register here. General on sale will begin Friday, May 8th at 10AM local time here

If your May plans don’t already involve getting your face melted by desert riffs in a sweaty room… here’s your sign.

Norwegian stoner rock heavyweights Slomosa are officially touching down in Australia this month for their first-ever headline tour – and they’re bringing their self-coined “Tundra Rock” chaos with them.

Slomosa – ‘Battling Guns’

Yep, after years of building a global rep as one of the most exciting names in modern heavy rock, the Bergen quartet are finally giving Aussie fans a taste of their icy, groove-laden sound, hitting Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane across a tight three-date run.

For the uninitiated, Slomosa’s whole deal is this beautifully weird fusion of desert rock swagger and Nordic frostbite – think Kyuss-style riff worship colliding with grunge hooks and a bit of punk bite for good measure. It’s heavy, it’s catchy, and it absolutely rips live.

And that live reputation? It’s not just hype. The band have been steadily levelling up on the global circuit, earning nods from heavy hitters like Helmet and Mastodon, smashing festival stages across Europe, and even jumping on US runs with the likes of Alkaline Trio. Safe to say: they’re not arriving quietly.

Their latest album Tundra Rock has only added fuel to the fire, with critics praising its “intoxicating mix of stoner and grunge” and undeniable energy – the kind of record that feels tailor-made to go off in a packed room.

Which is exactly what Aussie fans are about to get.

The run kicks off in Melbourne at Max Watts on Friday May 22, before rolling through Sydney’s Crowbar on May 23 and wrapping up in Brisbane on May 24 – short, loud, and very likely sweaty.

So if you like your riffs big, your grooves filthy and your gigs feeling like a full-body experience, you might wanna lock this one in.

Suss the deets below.

SLOMOSA – AUSTRALIAN TOUR 2026

  • Friday May 22 – Max Watts, Melbourne, VIC
  • Saturday May 23 – Crowbar, Sydney, NSW
  • Sunday May 24 – Crowbar, Brisbane, QLD

Alright Australia, dust off the boots and prepare your liver – Strummingbird is back for 2026, and it’s bringing one of the most unexpected (but kinda perfect?) headliners along for the ride: Post Malone.

Yep. Posty. At a modern Aussie country festival. And honestly? It makes a lot of sense.

Post Malone – ‘I Had Some Help’ (feat. Morgan Wallen)

After diving headfirst into his Nashville era with F-1 Trillion – a Grammy-nominated country project stacked with heavy hitters – Post Malone is officially saddling up for his return Down Under, leading a massive Strummingbird lineup set to roll through Ballarat, Newcastle and the Sunshine Coast this October. If his last Aussie visit is anything to go by, these shows are going to go off.

Joining him on the bill is one of country’s fastest-rising stars, Bailey Zimmerman, who’s been absolutely everywhere lately thanks to viral hits and a gritty, chart-dominating sound. Add in North Carolina’s rowdy crowd-pleaser Cooper Alan, the introspective brilliance of Cam, and a stacked mix of international names and homegrown faves, and you’ve got a lineup that goes far beyond your standard country fare.

From the DIY grit of viral hitters Dexter & The Moonrocks and the blissed-out vibes of Stella Lefty, to local heavy-hitters like Brad Cox and Sons of the East, Strummingbird is once again serving up a full-spectrum country experience – plus a few curveballs for good measure.

If you’re still wrapping your head around Post Malone topping the bill, it’s worth noting this isn’t just a novelty moment. His country pivot has seen him link up with the likes of Dolly Parton, Luke Combs and Chris Stapleton, while still carrying that unmistakable Posty DNA – and now he’s bringing that crossover chaos to a full-scale Aussie festival stage.

Beyond the music, Strummingbird is leaning all the way into the experience, with line dancing sessions returning across all stops (led by fan-fave Maddison Glover), plus camping options and travel packages for those keen to make a full weekend of it.

Presale tickets go live Wednesday May 13, with general tickets on sale Thursday May 14.

So yeah… if you’ve ever wanted to scream the lyrics to “Rockstar” while wearing cowboy boots surrounded by line dancers and country diehards, this might just be your moment.

Crystal Lake On Their Explosive Aussie Return And Wild New Live Vocalist https://musicfeeds.com.au/features/crystal-lake-on-their-explosive-aussie-return-and-wild-new-live-vocalist/ Fri, 01 May 2026 02:45:43 +0000 https://musicfeeds.com.au/?p=574594 The Japanese metalcore heavyweights hit our shores this month with Of Mice & Men

It’s been six long years since Japanese heavyweights Crystal Lake last tore through Australia – and in that time, they haven’t just maintained momentum… they’ve levelled up into a full-blown global force.

Now, they’re finally heading back Down Under this month alongside Of Mice & Men, armed with a new era, a sharpened live show, and a wildcard addition that’s about to send things into overdrive.

CRYSTAL LAKE – ‘The Weight Of Sound’

Enter PK – frontman of rising Japanese/Korean outfit PROMPTS – who’ll be joining Crystal Lake on this run, bringing a whole new dimension to the band’s already explosive live presence.

And according to guitarist YD, this isn’t just a lineup tweak, it’s a whole-ass energy shift.

“Music isn’t just about performance… it’s about the energy created between people,” he tells us. “PK’s energy and passion will turn our shows into something chaotic and joyful.”

That word – energy – comes up a lot when you talk to YD. Because for Crystal Lake, that’s always been the core of it. Not just technicality, not just heaviness – but connection.

“First and foremost, it’s our love for music… Being able to connect with people from different countries and share that wild, chaotic space through music is something I always feel grateful for.”

It’s that philosophy that’s helped Crystal Lake transcend borders, building a fanbase that stretches far beyond Japan and into places like Australia, where heavy music crowds are famously unhinged in the best way.

And yeah, they remember.

“There are too many memories… we partied a lot… but honestly, holding a koala is still something I remember very clearly,” YD laughs.

(Important cultural exchange: metalcore chaos x koalas.)

A New Chapter, Same Relentless DNA

Despite the lineup evolution and years off Aussie soil, YD is quick to shut down any idea that Crystal Lake have mellowed out.

“Nothing has changed. We’ll be bringing full energy and passion to the stage like always,” he promises.

If anything, the addition of PK looks set to intensify what the band already does best, AKA blending crushing metalcore, hardcore grit and soaring melody into something that feels both precise and completely unhinged.

“His style fits perfectly… it really pushes the emotional side of our songs even further,” YD explains.

And that emotional edge matters. Because Crystal Lake have never just been about breakdowns. They’ve always been about that cathartic release, that shared chaos between band and crowd.

Built For The Stage And Built For Australia

With a stacked lineup that includes Of Mice & Men (aka masters of emotional weight and arena-ready heaviness), Crystal Lake are making sure their Aussie return hits.

“We’re building the setlist for the Australian fans… songs longtime fans will love, and songs that connect with people who discovered us more recently.”

And after six years away, there’s a clear sense this isn’t just another tour stop, it’s a return that means something.

“Australia and its people are a special place for us… being able to tour, play shows, and meet people through music means everything.”

No Gimmicks + No Holding Back

If you’ve ever seen Crystal Lake live, you already know the deal… it’s relentless, physical, and borderline spiritual in its intensity.

And YD? He’s still approaching every show like it could be his last.

“My philosophy is to perform like I have no regrets… like I could die at any moment, and to always push past my limits.”

So yeah, safe to say this isn’t going to be a polite little comeback tour.

“Let’s Make It Wild”

For Aussie fans who’ve been waiting years for this moment, YD keeps it simple:

“Thank you so much for supporting us… beyond nationality, age, gender or religion, we’re excited to share a wild, unforgettable experience together through music.”

And honestly? That’s exactly what this feels like.

A band that’s grown bigger than ever.
A new voice adding fuel to the fire.
And a crowd that’s been waiting six years to explode.

Crystal Lake are back, and it’s about to get very, very loud.

Slayyyter Is Bringing The ‘WOR$T GIRL’ Era To Australia This August https://musicfeeds.com.au/news/slayyyter-is-bringing-the-wort-girl-era-to-australia-this-august/ Fri, 01 May 2026 01:32:29 +0000 https://musicfeeds.com.au/?p=574591 “I’m so excited to finally return to Australia"

Alright pop gremlins, assemble – Slayyyter is officially bringing the chaos Down Under.

Fresh off tearing up the Mojave Stage at Coachella, the self-proclaimed pop disruptor has announced her long-awaited return to Australia with the gloriously unhinged WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD TOUR, set to hit the east coast this August.

Slayyyter – ‘BROKE BITCH FREE$TYLE’

It’ll mark her first Aussie shows in three years, and she’s not exactly easing back into it – we’re talking five headline dates, including a double-up in both Sydney and Melbourne. The run kicks off with back-to-back nights at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on August 9 and 10, before heading to Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on August 14, and wrapping with two shows at Melbourne’s Forum on August 17 and 18.

“I’m so excited to finally return to Australia… it means so much to perform WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA with all my fans down under,” she said.

If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know Slayyyter’s been deep in her villain era. Her latest album WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA sees her fully lean into the chaos – blending trashy electro-pop, punk attitude and bratty rap into what she’s dubbed “iPod music” for the chronically online. It’s messy, it’s loud, it’s intentionally a bit cooked… and fans are eating it up.

The record debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Dance Albums chart, with singles like ‘BEAT UP CHANEL$’, ‘CANNIBALISM!’ and ‘CRANK’ helping build a cult-level hype train = not to mention the freshly dropped ‘BROKE BITCH FREE$TYLE’ keeping the momentum rolling.

Since her early viral days (“Daddy AF” gang rise up), Slayyyter’s carved out a lane that’s equal parts hyperpop, throwback club trash and high-gloss grit – and this tour feels like the fully realised version of that energy.

Tickets go on sale Friday May 8 at 10am local time, with presales kicking off earlier that week.

Metallica Reload

Metallica diehards… this one’s for the collectors, the crate diggers, and the “yes I do need 15 CDs of demos” crowd.

The thrash titans have announced a monster reissue of their 1997 album Reload, landing June 26 via their own Blackened Recordings – and it’s about as stacked as you’d expect from a band that treats the archive like sacred scripture.

The headline grab is a super-deluxe box set that goes full “leave no riff behind”: we’re talking 15 CDs, 4 DVDs and nearly 29 hours of material, spanning demos, riff tapes, remixes, and a metric shit-ton of previously unreleased live recordings. If you’ve ever wanted to sit inside the Reload era and hear it evolve in real time… congrats, this is your new personality.

Remastered by Reuben Cohen with longtime collaborator Greg Fidelman overseeing, the set also comes loaded with physical goodies – including a “Gimme Fuel” poster, a Pushead “Fixxxer” print, tour laminates, guitar picks, a 128-page book, and even Rorschach test cards (because of course Metallica made this a whole experience).

On the audio side, highlights include:

  • 70 demo and riff tracks charting the album’s creation
  • Multiple unreleased live sets across Europe, North America and AUSTRALIA (!!)
  • Rare acoustic performances featuring guests like Les Claypool and Jerry Cantrell
  • The previously unreleased Banned in Philly live footage
  • Plus a remastered “The Memory Remains” – now out with fresh live visuals

And yep – if you pre-order, you’ll instantly cop multiple versions of “The Memory Remains”, including demo takes and live cuts, because Metallica know exactly how to bait the completionists.

When Reload landed in 1997, it wasn’t just another Metallica record – it was a full-blown identity shift. The band had already rattled purists with Load a year earlier, ditching thrash for a groovier, hard rock lean and (gasp) cutting their hair, sparking one of the most infamous fan meltdowns in metal history.

Reload doubled down on that era: bluesy swagger, alt-rock textures, and a willingness to experiment that split the fanbase right down the middle. But time’s been kind to it. Tracks like Fuel and The Memory Remains have become live staples, and what once felt controversial now reads as a bold, transitional chapter that proved Metallica weren’t afraid to evolve, even if it meant dragging their audience along kicking and screaming.

The band are also launching a fan comp dubbed #GetTheReLoudOut, inviting fans to submit covers, performances and art inspired by the album – with signed box sets up for grabs.

If Reload was the era where Metallica doubled down on groove, swagger and left turns, this reissue is the full autopsy – every layer, every experiment, every late-night studio rabbit hole.

Short version: it’s big, it’s loud, it’s wildly excessive, it’s… very on brand for Metallica.

This one’s a bit of a heartbreaker for the ‘90s kids.

US alt-rock staples Spin Doctors have officially pulled the plug on their long-awaited Australian return, cancelling their upcoming Pocket Full Of Kryptonite anniversary tour just weeks before it was set to kick off.

Spin Doctors – ‘Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong’

In a message to ticketholders, promoters Destroy All Lines confirmed the May run has been scrapped due to “unexpected logistical shifts & circumstances.” The band added they’re incredibly grateful for the support from fans across Australia and New Zealand, and are working to find a way to come back as soon as possible.

The tour – originally announced back in November – would’ve marked Spin Doctors’ first Aussie shows since 1993, with plans to perform their breakout 1991 album Pocket Full Of Kryptonite in full. That record, of course, went on to become a monster, spawning hits like ‘Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong’ and ‘Two Princes’, topping the Aussie charts and eventually going 5x Platinum.

It also carried a bit of personal weight for frontman Chris Barron, who spent part of his childhood living in Australia – something he’s spoken about fondly in recent interviews, recalling everything from Vegemite sandwiches to wandering around Sydney Harbour like core memory fuel.

At this stage, there’s no word yet on rescheduled dates… but it sounds like the band are keen to make it happen when they can.

For now, Aussie fans will just have to keep those Two Princes singalongs on ice a little longer.

Melbourne’s Beloved Stay Gold Is Closing This June https://musicfeeds.com.au/news/melbournes-beloved-stay-gold-is-closing-this-june/ Thu, 30 Apr 2026 22:33:39 +0000 https://musicfeeds.com.au/?p=574583 A huge loss for Melbourne alternative music

The post Melbourne’s Beloved Stay Gold Is Closing This June appeared first on Music Feeds.

Beloved Melbourne live room Stay Gold has confirmed it will close its doors this June, bringing an end to one of Brunswick’s most important live hubs for alternative and heavy music.

After opening in 2018, Stay Gold quickly became more than just another venue, it was a genuine stepping stone. The kind of room where bands played their first proper shows, figured things out, built a crowd… and then came back bigger. Not quite DIY, not quite arena – but pretty essential to everything in between.

“It’s time for us to say: thanks for the memories”

In a statement to fans, the venue shared that its lease at 133 Sydney Road will come to an end on Sunday, June 21, 2026, marking its final night. “It’s time for us to say: thanks for the memories,” they wrote, a simple line that’s already hitting pretty hard across the scene.

No further details have been given as to why the venue won’t continue beyond the lease, but its closure adds to a growing list of Aussie rooms disappearing under the weight of rising costs and shifting conditions.

And that’s the real gut-punch here… places like Stay Gold don’t just host gigs. They build scenes. They’re where bands cut their teeth, where communities form, where something small starts turning into something real. Lose too many of those, and the whole ecosystem starts to wobble.

The Demi Lovato setlist for the “It’s Not That Deep Tour” has been revealed. Demi Lovato has a live style that often moves between powerful pop songs, emotional ballads, and bigger rock-leaning moments. That range gives the shows a lot of contrast, so the set rarely stays in one mood for too long. Her concerts also tend to feel personal, with the performance often carrying as much emotion as energy. The It’s Not That Deep Tour is expected to bring that same mix, with a set shaped around newer material and familiar favorites.

What songs are on the Demi Lovato’s It’s Not That Deep Tour setlist?

The following is what Demi Lovato is expected to play in her setlist for the tour. This is based on the first few shows of the tour, where the shape of the set is already starting to show itself. Some of the newer songs seem to be driving the tone of the night, while the bigger fan favorites are spaced through the set in a way that keeps it balanced. Those early shows give a strong idea of how the set is likely to unfold across the rest of the tour. As always, this expected setlist is subject to change.

Act 1:

  1. Fast
  2. Kiss
  3. Frequency

Act 2:

  1. Heart Attack
  2. Tell Me You Love Me
  3. Confident
  4. Low Rise Jeans
  5. Fantasy
  6. Solo (Clean Bandit cover)

Act 3:

  1. Skyscraper
  2. Give Your Heart a Break
  3. Say It
  4. Little Bit
  5. Ghost

Act 4:

  1. Here All Night
  2. Joshua Tree
  3. Catch Me
  4. Let You Go
  5. Stone Cold
  6. Sorry Not Sorry
  7. Really Don’t Care

Encore:

  1. Sorry to Myself
  2. Cool for the Summer

As the night goes on, some parts of the set can still shift depending on how the show is feeling in the moment. A strong crowd response can affect how long a certain mood stays in place, while smaller audience interactions can sometimes shape how the next section flows. Demi may also decide to move a song around if another one feels better in that spot that night. Those kinds of changes are usually subtle, but they help keep the show from feeling too locked in.

The It’s Not That Deep Tour feels well suited to the kind of live balance Demi often brings on stage. The set has room for the bigger, more energetic songs, but it also leaves space for the more personal moments to land. That contrast helps the whole show move naturally rather than feeling split into separate moods. By the end, it tends to come together as a set that feels full and emotionally connected.

The Foreigner setlist for the “50th Anniversary Tour” has been revealed. Foreigner is known for classic rock shows built around big hooks, familiar sing-alongs, and songs that have held up live for decades. Their concerts usually move between harder rock songs, slower ballads, and the big anthems people wait for. That mix gives the set a strong pace without it feeling too repetitive. The 50th Anniversary Tour is expected to lean into that legacy, with a set built around the songs most tied to the band’s long live history.

What songs are on the Foreigner’s 50th Anniversary Tour setlist?

The following is what Foreigner is expected to play in their setlist for the 50th Anniversary Tour. This is based on the first few stops of the tour, where the shape of the set is already starting to come through. The best-known songs seem to make up the core of the night, while other tracks are worked in around them to keep the flow steady. From those early shows, there’s already a pretty good sense of where the set is heading. As always, this expected setlist is subject to change.

  1. Night Life
  2. Woman in Black
  3. Cold as Ice
  4. Waiting for a Girl Like You
  5. I’m Gonna Win
  6. Don’t Let Go
  7. Luanne (with Lou Gramm)
  8. Girl on the Moon (with Lou Gramm)
  9. Urgent (with Lou Gramm)
  10. Break It Up
  11. Feels Like the First Time
  12. Juke Box Hero

Encore:

  1. I Want to Know What Love Is (with Lou Gramm)
  2. Hot Blooded (with Lou Gramm)

Once the show gets going, some parts of the set can still move around a little depending on the night. Crowd reactions can affect the pacing, especially around the biggest sing-along moments. The stage setup can play a role too, since lighting and transitions may shape where certain songs sit best. Venue size can also matter, as some songs land differently in bigger arenas than they do in smaller spaces. At the same time, the band may decide to move a song around if it feels like a better fit in that moment. Those small changes help keep the show feeling natural without changing the overall structure.

The 50th Anniversary Tour fits naturally with the kind of live show Foreigner has built over the years. The set leans heavily on the songs people most associate with the band, but it still leaves room for variety in how the night moves. That keeps it from feeling like a simple greatest-hits run-through. Instead, the show keeps a steady flow, with the bigger moments landing where they should while the rest of the set fills things out around them.

The Bryan Adams setlist for the “Roll With the Punches Tour” has been revealed. Bryan Adams is known for straightforward rock shows built around big sing-along hits, strong live vocals, and a style that doesn’t feel overly complicated. His concerts usually balance energetic crowd favorites with slower songs that give the set a different pace. That mix is a big part of why his live shows have stayed so popular for so long. The Roll With the Punches Tour is expected to keep that same feel, with a set built around classic staples and newer material.

What songs are on Bryan Adams’ Roll With the Punches Tour setlist?

The following is what Bryan Adams is expected to play in his setlist for the Roll With the Punches Tour. This is based on how the early shows have played out, where a pattern is already starting to emerge in how the set is being built. The biggest hits seem to hold the key spots in the night, while other songs are worked in around them to keep the pace balanced. From those first few dates, it is already fairly clear how the set is likely to take shape across the tour. As always, this expected setlist is subject to change.

  1. Can’t Stop This Thing We Started
  2. Straight From the Heart
  3. Let’s Make a Night to Remember
  4. Kick Ass
  5. Run to You
  6. Somebody
  7. Roll With the Punches
  8. Do I Have to Say the Words?
  9. 18 til I Die
  10. Please Forgive Me
  11. It’s Only Love
  12. Shine a Light
  13. Heaven
  14. Never Ever Let You Go
  15. This Time
  16. Heat of the Night
  17. Make Up Your Mind
  18. You Belong to Me
  19. Twist and Shout
  20. Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?
  21. So Happy It Hurts
  22. Will We Ever Be Friends Again
  23. Here I Am
  24. I Will Always Return
  25. When You’re Gone
  26. The Only Thing That Looks Good on Me Is You
  27. (Everything I Do) I Do It for You
  28. Back to You
  29. Summer of ’69
  30. Cuts Like a Knife
  31. All for Love (Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart & Sting song)

Once the show gets going, some parts of the set can still move around a little depending on the night. If a song gets a huge response, that can affect how the energy carries into the next part of the set. Bryan may also shift a song around if another one feels like a better fit in that moment. He has always had a natural way of playing off the crowd too, whether through sing-along moments or smaller interactions, and that can shape the flow more than people realize. Those small changes help the show feel a little different from stop to stop without changing its overall shape.

The Roll With the Punches Tour fits easily with the kind of live show Bryan Adams has always done well. The set leans on the songs people know best, but it still leaves room for newer material without feeling too split between old and new. That helps the whole show move in a way that feels steady and familiar, while still keeping things fresh. By the end, the set comes together in a way that feels balanced and easy to stay with from start to finish.

The Alice Cooper setlist for “Alice’s Attic Tour” has been revealed. Alice Cooper is known for turning concerts into full theatrical performances, mixing hard rock with horror-style staging, characters, and dark humor. His shows usually feel like a mix of rock concert and stage production, with songs tied closely to what is happening visually. That’s a big part of why his live sets feel so distinct. Alice’s Attic Tour is expected to keep that same spirit, with a set built around classic staples and songs that fit the tour’s theatrical mood.

What songs are on the Alice Cooper Alice’s Attic Tour setlist?

The following is what Alice Cooper is expected to play in his setlist for Alice’s Attic Tour. This is based on how the early shows have played out, where a pattern is already starting to emerge in how the set is being built. The bigger classics seem to anchor the night, while other songs are placed around the theatrical pacing of the show. From those first few dates, there’s already a good sense of how the show is likely to play out. As always, this expected setlist is subject to change.

  1. Hello, Hooray (Judy Collins cover)
  2. Who Do You Think We Are
  3. Spark in the Dark
  4. No More Mr. Nice Guy
  5. House of Fire
  6. Billion Dollar Babies
  7. I’m Eighteen
  8. Muscle of Love
  9. Feed My Frankenstein
  10. Dirty Diamonds
  11. Caught in a Dream
  12. Hey Stoopid
  13. Dangerous Tonight
  14. Poison
  15. Guitar Solo (Anna Cara)
  16. Brutal Planet
  17. Ballad of Dwight Fry
  18. Cold Ethyl
  19. Only Women Bleed
  20. Second Coming
  21. Going Home (band only)
  22. School’s Out
  23. Smells Like Teen Spirit (Nirvana cover)
  24. Under My Wheels

Once the show gets going, some parts of the set can still shift a little depending on the night. Crowd reactions can affect the pacing, especially during some of the bigger crowd-favorite moments. The stage side matters too, since props, scene changes, and performance cues can sometimes shape where certain songs fit best. At the same time, Alice may decide in the moment that another song works better in a certain spot or fits the flow more naturally. Those little changes help keep the show feeling alive without changing the larger shape of the performance.

Alice’s Attic Tour fits naturally with the kind of live spectacle Alice Cooper has built his name on. The set leans on songs people expect, but the theatrical side gives those songs a different life on stage. That keeps the show from feeling like a straight run through old hits. Instead, it moves more like a performance with its own rhythm, where the music and stage elements carry the whole thing together.

The ZZ Top setlist for “The Big One! Tour” has been revealed. ZZ Top is known for blues-rock riffs, old-school swagger, and live shows that feel loose in the best way. Their concerts usually move between hard-driving songs and slower, blues-heavy moments, which keeps the set from feeling one-note. That mix is a big part of why their live shows have held up for so long. The Big One! Tour is expected to keep that same feel, with a set built around longtime staples and a few songs that keep things interesting.

What songs are on ZZ Top’s The Big One! Tour setlist?

The following is what ZZ Top is expected to play in their setlist for The Big One! Tour. This is based on how the early shows have played out, where a pattern can be seen. The set doesn’t feel random, it seems built to keep the energy moving, with the big classics doing a lot of the work and other songs filling things out around them. From those first few shows, a feeling of how the night is meant to unfold can be seen. As always, this expected setlist is subject to change.

  1. Got Me Under Pressure
  2. I Thank You (Sam & Dave cover)
  3. Waitin’ for the Bus
  4. Jesus Just Left Chicago
  5. Gimme All Your Lovin’
  6. Pearl Necklace
  7. I’m Bad, I’m Nationwide
  8. I Gotsta Get Paid
  9. Sixteen Tons (Merle Travis cover)
  10. Cheap Sunglasses
  11. Just Got Paid
  12. Sharp Dressed Man
  13. Legs
  14. Brown Sugar
  15. La Grange

Once the show gets rolling, little things can still change from night to night. A song might run a little longer, or show up earlier in the set, just depending on how the room feels. The band can also switch things around in the moment if another song feels right there instead. Those are small changes, but they help keep the show from feeling too fixed or overly planned.

The Big One! Tour feels very in line with how ZZ Top usually plays live. The set leans on the songs people want to hear, but it still leaves room for the deeper blues-rock cuts that give the show its character. That keeps it from feeling like a straight run through the hits. It all moves in a way that feels easy and natural, with the bigger moments landing where they should without taking over the whole show.

CONTENT WARNING: The following article discusses the death of a teenage girl

UK punk festival mainstay Slam Dunk has confirmed one of its directors has stepped down following serious allegations that surfaced earlier this week.

While the individual wasn’t named in the official statement, reports have pointed to founder Ben Ray, after a woman publicly accused him of sexual assault on April 23 via social media. The claims were accompanied by what’s alleged to be a screenshot of a conversation between the two.

Official Statement From Slam Dunk:

In a statement, Slam Dunk organisers said they are aware of the allegations and are taking them seriously, acknowledging the impact the situation may have on their community. They also confirmed the unnamed director denies the claims but has agreed to step away from festival operations while the matter proceeds through legal channels.

“While he strongly refutes these allegations, the director in question has agreed, in consultation with the board, to step down… while this matter is ongoing,” the statement reads.

The festival added that the safety and wellbeing of fans, staff and artists remains its top priority, and that it is committed to maintaining a “safe, respectful and inclusive environment.” Organisers declined to comment further, citing the ongoing legal process, but said they will provide updates when appropriate.

The development comes just weeks out from the 2026 edition of Slam Dunk Festival, which is set to take place across the UK in late May, with a lineup featuring acts like Good Charlotte, Knocked Loose and Sublime.

At this stage, no further official comment has been made beyond the festival’s statement.

If you need assistance, 1800 RESPECT – the Australian National Sexual Assault, Domestic and Family Violence Counselling Service — can be reached on 1800 737 732.

Thirty years later and still absolutely flooring it…

US punk-metal lifers Strung Out are heading back to Australia this September to celebrate three decades of their cult-classic album Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues – and yep, they’re bringing the whole high-speed chaos with them.

Strung Out – ‘Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues’

Originally dropping in 1996, Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues is one of those records that didn’t just age well — it straight-up refuses to slow down. Thirteen tracks, barely half an hour, zero filler. From the opening blast of ‘Firecracker’ to the final punch of ‘Wrong Side of the Tracks’, it’s all razor-wire riffs, melodic hooks and breakneck urgency — and it still hits like a truck in 2026.

Across ten albums and decades on the road, Strung Out have built a reputation as one of punk’s most relentless live acts — tight, loud, and no-nonsense. No nostalgia-for-the-sake-of-it here either — just a band that’s still operating at full throttle. This run will see Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues woven throughout the set, alongside fan faves from across their catalogue.
